'Mathematical Problem' - Bhaskaracharya

Whilst making love a necklace broke.
A row of pearls mislaid.
One sixth fell to the floor.
One fifth upon the bed.
The young woman saved one third of them.
One tenth were caught by her lover.
If six pearls remained upon the string
How many pearls were there altogether?

The real question here is...was it worth stopping making love just because the string snapped? :D

"...And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse..."
So has business taken away the passion from the young poet :)
